An American lady being held hostage together with her Canadian husband and two youngsters — each born in captivity — pleaded with the American and Canadian governments for assist in a newly launched Taliban propaganda video.

The video appeared to point out Caitlan Coleman and her husband Joshua Boyle, who have been kidnapped whereas climbing in Afghanistan in late 2012.

Coleman, who seems to be studying from a script, referred to as their captivity "the Kafkaesque nightmare by which we discover ourselves" and asks that governments on each side intervene to work in the direction of their launch. She says the video was taken on Dec. three.

She addressed each President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump instantly within the video.
